Apartment Reviews for Carolina Crossing - Rock Hill

I don't know which is worse the tenants that yell to each other from across the complex or their noisy children running in front of my car in the parking lot. (Which by the way has NO parking! Most of the time I have to park in front of another building) It's funny because when I moved here I had asked them if there were a lot of kids, "No we barely have any children here, it's mostly just adults and older people who keep to themselves" they told me. Ha! Almost everyone I have seen come out of their apartment here is accompanied by at least 2 children! But honestly I could deal with the excessive number of kids, I mean I work with kids after all, it's just the select few that have nothing better to do than stand with their bikes and skateboards in the middle of the way where I'm trying to drive. My biggest peeve about this place is the amount of GHETTO that is here! I can't go to the mailbox without guys in other units yelling to "talk at" or "holla at" me. They seem to think my name is "Showty" too. Their teens and tweens sit outside on their parents' cars on the weekends yelling and being loud at all hours of the night and they too like to stand in the middle of the way where I'm trying to drive. Oh and don't let me forget all the people who think it's cool to sit outside with their car doors wide open blasting music for the whole neighborhood to hear, ya know, because everyone likes rap and country, right? And not only are they outside just sitting in their cars, but no one here seems to know how to park in just one space; most cars take up one and a quarter spaces. Apparently driver's licenses are just handed out to those with no driving or parking knowledge what so ever. And let's not forget about the cars that have been broken into--there have been 3 break ins, that I know about and one 2 windshields busted in just in the 8 months that I've lived here. Looking at these apartments from the outside, they look very nice...VERY nice, but the people who live in them make them ghetto. I mean come on, they're right next to Heather Heights, the BIGGEST GHETTO in this part of town. At the end of my lease in August, I will be moving.
