Going down hill ( over a year ago )

The first year or 2 I loved it. The people who work there have changed and so have the kind of people who live there. The units are old and need a lot of work. I could hear people below me and next to me. The walls are thin. I know of a few break ins and robbers. I was happy to move.

Lived there for a couple of years. If maintained and managed better, this could be a great place. However, the buildings haven't been pressure washed for a couple of years (outside windows have a layer of dust and the stairs are not in the best shape). Maintenance requests (unless emergency) are sometimes ignored. Management's communication with residents could also be improved (they gave me 1 day to decide if I want to continue renting with $100/month increase). Besides that, it is a safe and nice place.

Who would have thought that an apartment within walking distance of Winthrop University even existed, let alone one so cheap with so many amenities!

The apartments are a little small, but most are. The girls are hot and the pool is open year-round. Parking is always available, which makes me wonder how many poor, innocent trees died in the little tree camps to build the parking lots.

Housing is very cheap, as it's marketed to college students. But people from all walks of life live here, and the community fosters social interaction, homebodies need not apply.

In short, I would enthusiastically recommend Village Station to anyone seeking to establish living quarters in Rock Hill for the short or long term.
