Review for Trails Of Dickson Apartments

My daughter has lived in this apartment complex for over 3 years, between the maintnance department (if there is one) and the two girls in the office Lea being one of the main one, there has been nothing but problems. The first started when the paying of the rent always came after my daughters two week payperiod, always making her late with extra fees and such, the next problems came when section 8 asked for things to be repaired, such as a smashed downspout on the outside of the building, vent covers that needed fixing, broken stove handles, but most importantly, the repair or replacement of broken old smoke dectors, this was the most disturbing to my family with a small child in this apartment, on too many occasions myself (grandmother) or my husband or even my daughter had to fix things, such as the wonderful garbage disposal, which we were told at that time that they we tight on funds and didn't even have a maintaince man at that moment. My daughter has opted to be more of a woman than myself, I think that the people of Dickson county and or other future renters should be made aware of the problems here with maintaince and office workers who either have already decided to they dont like the renter or don't really care because after all they get their pay either way. It is almost like they don't even care if section 8 people rent from them, each time something has to be fixed, they tell you that it is a couritsy when they fix things, yet when section fails someone for repairs not fixed they refuse to pay the rent and the appartment maintaince department refuses to fix the rapairs on the list for section 8 and the cycle keeps on going around and around. Truth is they really DO NOT CARE if they did they would be willing to put forth the effort that is needed to keep these apartments in rental condition for each and everyone regardless, and why cut your nose off to spite your face, isn't section 8 a helpful program? By the way the section 8 people weren't much help either, seems that they can't force the complex to fix the problems they only stop paying their portion of the persons rent. Thats wrong too.
