Review for Houston Levee Apartments

I don't understand the first review listed! #1-every apartment complex in the city has to accept section 8. It is unlawful not to and I know for a FACT that they don't get lower rent AND they have to qualify on every single level just like everyone else. The only difference is that the govn't is paying some of their rent-so learn your stuff. #2-I have lived here for a while now, and I haven't heard of any arrests. I even asked our officer who lives here and he said that this just didn't happen. #3-there is a full gate around the entire property, except at the very back corner where two fences don't quite meet each other, which I do agree, needs to be fixed, but there is a defined fence between us and the shopping center. #4-the office staff (now, finally) is very good. I think, maybe the comment was made regarding the office staff of last year-they were not quite ontop of things-the office staff AND management company changed for the better this year and things are looking even better around here. Everytime I go into the office, I have great conversations with the staff, however, I have yet to meet the manager...but the other two-asst and lease consultant are great, maintenance is great... I think it is funny to read bad reviews of people that STILL live at the property. If it's so bad why don't you move? I KNOW that, being a mother, I would only pick a place that I feel safe at. I bet the people that write bad reviews have gotten in trouble by not paying their rent on time or making too much noise...would almost bet on it! I love Houston Levee!! It is extremely quiet and peaceful and I would tell anyone who is looking in this area to come here!!
