Apartment Reviews for Stonebridge Crossing - Cordova

I have lived there for a year and could not wait until my lease was up to move. I could not get maintenance out to fix things called and complained every time i paid rent. Also the people above me make lots of noise every night around 11 until 2. Garbage is a eye sore dont get picked up like it should. also rates keep going up. I would not rent there or recommend it.

When I first moved in last February, 2009, I was still single so only my name was the lease. I got married 6 weeks after moving in so, of course, my husband moved in. No problem for the last year, right? Wrong! We were getting a receipt for a rent payment when the leasing agent TOLD us my husband HAD TO be on the lease in order to continue to live there. But, first they needed to run a $35 background check. The office would not accept cash for this mandatory procedure-- money orders ONLY! We figured since we weren't renewing the lease and are moving out in 2 weeks, WHY BOTHER?! Thank God we closed on a house last week so we don't have to renew this lease. The exterior of the units are nice, but we couldn't enjoy them because people are CONSTANTLY driving like bats out of **** in the parking lots. The dumpsters are disgusting as garbage is always overflowing. Things to be repaired that were noted on the leasing manager's initial walk-through NEVER got even looked at. Save your time and money, and DO NOT move here!

Do yourself a favor and please skip by these apartments. I could not wait until my lease was up because this place sucks. Every apartment has mold but the maintenance crews just paint over the problem. I and several other people have been moved several times because of all the moldy apartments. The new management has an attitude problem and only cares about her job and not the tenants that provides her income. The maintenance crew is very slow to fix anything that you report. if you move here, mark my word you will regret it seriously.

When we first moved in we had a leasing agent named Robert who seemed to really be willing to help us out and get us some
"good deals." Little did we know, he was doing things under the table, and when we went to call about our cable getting cut off, he no longer worked there. Thank goodness.

As far as quality, the apartment was ok other than drafts from windows and patches in the carpet (but you'll find that at any apartment). We haven't had any problems with the appliances, and the one problem we had with the water heate (it was leaking into our neighbor's closet downstairs), the on-call guy came out in about 15 mins. We do have wires running across the house, which i think is the worst problem, because the cable outlets are messed up.

The state-of-the-art gym was state-of-the-art about 10 years ago, and nothing works. That was a peeve, but it could be worse.

Noise isn't too bad, except when our neighbor downstairs was cheating on his wife when she was out of town. Other than that, we've never heard anything.

Parking isn't a problem at all.

Crime isn't really a big problem, but one night we did have someone try to break into my car. The police stopped him before he got in and arrested him. Any time the police are called, they make it out in less than 10 mins.

The office staff is great!!

The prices are great for the area and what they have to offer, other than the gym.
