Review for Trinity Lakes Apartments

I am actually stuck in a lease with them right now and can't wait for it to end. I turned in my rent and a list of problems that I had found once I moved into the apartment. I was told that the only things that they would fix were the mechanical problem, that I had rented the apartment "as is" and that they would not fix the cosmetic problems and that they would not even put my request in my file. To me anh appartment should not be rented unless it is completely ready. I also don't think that laminate coming off the cabinets, cabinet doors being sprung so they will not shut, a sink that is rusting out at the drains and overflow are just cosmetics this apartment was in no way ready for occupants the paint job and cleaning were very shoddy. I have one cabinet that everytime you close it the botton falls off. I have never heard of apartments that rents appartments "as is " I thought they were suppose to be checked and made ready for the next renter but obviously I was mistaken. When it comes to the rent. I can't see how an apartment with no fireplace or sunroom could be more that one that has these ammenities.l I was quoted one pricfe on the phone and then when I actually go there was told tha apartment that they had quoted me on they had already least, but that they had one slightly larger but if it is larger than the one they were going to rent me I feel sorry for the people who rented it. I have request a call from the manager on several occassions and have yet to hear from her. When I went by to talk to her they wouldn't even check to see if she was availablre they just said she was in a meeting. I know this was a lie, and I don't understand why she would avoid talking to a customer unless she knew about the problems with the property. Does anyone out there know how I can get out of this lease without giving them more of my hard earned cash? Maybe I should call Andy Weiss!
