Rented: From 2005 To 2006

I have been here for about 15 months. My apartment was broken into in broad daylight 2 weeks after I moved in. The police and my neighbors said that it was probably done by employees. My back bedroom window was broken, but it had been raining for days, and there was a big muddy puddle right under the window. Yet strangely, there was not a speck of mud on the walls or floor around the window. It looked to me like someone came in with a key, gathered up about $1,00 dollars worth of stuff, and then stepped out the back door and smashed the window. I informed the manager and the corporate office by registered letter of these facts, and never got a response. I put in my own deadbolts, and an alarm system that calls my cell phone if anyone enters. I haven't had anymore problems.

But be warned, when you move in, someone WILL come in and go through your stuff...if they find something they want, a robbery WILL be staged.
