The Preserve at Southwind rests on Capilano Drive, just off of Hacks Cross Road. The apartments are close to various restaurants and shopping opportunities, such as Starbuck’s, Logan’s Roadhouse, Costco, and Buffalo Wild Wings. The Preserve is located in the southeastern suburbs of Memphis, in the Germantown area. Many reviewers have described the apartments as comfortable and safe. A number of renter reviews state that the staff is helpful and kind. There are a few reviews, however, that describe the units as below average for the area and point out an ongoing mold problem. Atlantic Oaks Apartments lies 5 miles east of downtown Memphis, next to Route 14 and close to I-40. For faculty and students of Rhodes College, Victory University, University of Memphis, or Memphis College of Art, the complex is within miles and makes commuting easy. Tenants who don’t feel like cooking at home can get a quick bite to eat at the Checker’s, McDonald’s, Khun’s Restaurant, or Big Hong Kong on Jackson Avenue.
