Tenants have a variety of recreational opportunities in the seven parks that surround the apartment complex, one of which — for all you music enthusiasts — is Otis Redding Park. For convenient shopping, residents can walk down to the Whitehaven Plaza just a half mile away or venture the 2 miles down the road to Walmart. Reviewers agreed that the apartment units are quiet and affordable, but with a management change the upkeep and security of the apartment complex, as well as the management customer service, has declined. Audubon Downs Apartments is located 5 miles outside of downtown Memphis, near the 277 on-ramp. Sports fans are a short walk away from the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, where the Memphis Tigers play football. The apartment complex is also in the midst of the Memphis City Parks and Grounds, with the Chickasaw Gardens, Peabody Park, and Tobey Skatepark close by. Lyons Ridge Apartments is located on Pennsylvania Street in South Memphis, close to the Mississippi’s Riverside Park. The premises are conveniently located to Interstate 55, so residents can quickly make it downtown.
