Apartment Review for Gleneagles Apartments

I have been a resident of these apts. for 1 year. I was somewhat pleased with the previous management, but since the Northland group has taken over the managing of the complex it has really gone down. This company is supoose to be a repitible company having been in the business for sometime. I do not want to pull the racial card but I wonder if the complex was equally mixed or less minorities would the management handle matters better. There are many decent hard working residents in this complex. Management should try screening its' residents better and worry less about renting apartments to just anyone. Most people would like to live where they feel safe and their children and teens are safe. I know we live in a world where there is a lot of terrible things going on but there are some places within this city that's farily safe. I was told that there apt. where really nice at one time. So why can't they become that way again. I see other complexes around this area that are much better even across the street. A new managerial company purchased the complex across the street and immediately began improving the outside and inside of the complex. They also cleaned up the rift raft living there and apparently made their screening more crucial. Gleneagles could be a great place to live if management would step-up to bat. I have repairs that I reported about at least 2 weeks ago and everytime I call the front office I'm told the work order is in. If you are short staffed then hire reputable help. If your residents are pleased then the turn over will be less. People will be happy to stay and resign leases and also talk about where they live and what a good place to reside. I wll probably not resign my lease, although I would like to, but mangement now is worse than the previous owners. I do not want to live in a place where the management tells you what they think you want to here. No one in the office lives on the complex so why should they worry about how you live. I am very disappointed with my stay here. Please try to improve so your residents can appreciate where they live. I am not signing my name, but I have spoken to other residents and they feel the same. Many are not resigning leases. They would rather go through the headache of searching for residence elsewhere.
