Apartment Review for Bavaria Apartments

The police are called here nearly every week. People are always getting robbed or their houses broken to. From what I was told by one police officer there have been two murders gun in the last two years. I was told by one police officer that I should carry a gun when I'm out at night or have one ready if I returned to my apartment at night. If you don't believe this just check with the police department. The dumpsters are always overflowing with mattresses and other household furniture. They have security but it is a joke. You will very seldom see them here and they are never here when they are needed. They're no speed bumps some people are constantly traveling at an excessive speed in their cars. Very unsafe for children. The apartments themselves are a mess. Most haven't been updated in years. In my apartment the more I vacuum the more holes that come up in the carpet. I've talked to management about it to no avail.Poor insulation in walls and windows not properly sealed lead to high electric bills especially during winter. Serious repairs needed throughout the apartment complex. In some cases the outside brick is actually falling off. The complex laundry room is disgusting and I've seen rats it. When they are painting interior of the apartments they use the spray gun without taking anything off and overspray is throughout the apartment on the carpet, on the glass, mirrors and even in the tub. All electrical sockets are old and it is difficult to get a plug to stay in them. The so-called washer and dryer fixtures are not enclosed in a separate room in our add-ons so that you have to put your washer and dryer in your dining room. When you move in they will tell you one price and then after you've given them money for your credit check and are approved they will tell you about the $40 water surcharge. By this time you're either moving in or you're losing your money for the credit check. They won't say about the robberies and murders or the break-ins.
Do yourself a favor and don't move in here. It may seem okay at first but trust me you will start noticing the things that I mentioned above. Just don't move in.
