Review for Deerbrook Forest Apartments

i've lived here for about two years, and i really like it. of course, with any apartment complex, there are pro's and con's.

cons:
smell -- the water treatment plant next door makes the air stink about once a week.
planes -- they fly right over the parking lot, but when you're inside, you rarely notice them.
litter -- there are some hill billy types, who sometimes throw trash on the ground, but luckily, we have a nice maintenance man who cleans it up when he can.
water bill -- the complex divides the water bill among residents, which is outrageous. $40 tacked onto your rent!

pros:
safety -- it's very safe here. i've heard about a few cars getting broken into, but i often see people leaving out their purses and cd's on their car seats, so i don't blame the thieves for taking the easy pickings. my husband and i always keep our cars clean, so we've never had a problem. we've never had our place broken into, which is also a huge plus.
size -- it's a relatively small complex, so it doesn't take too long for maintenance to be fixed. apparently, we live in the smallest unit the complex offers, but it's still pretty spacious for two people.
location -- we're close enough for all the shops in humble, but just far enough so be secluded, which helps keeps us safe.
price -- the apartments are cheap for their size. definately comes in handy, when considering the water bill.

overall... the pro's defnately outweight the con's, and we're not planning on moving any time soon.
