Review for River Oaks Villas Apartments

If you are thinking about moving here DONT. TURN AROUND AND RUN! You may be fooled by walking around a unit but once you move in everything will start breaking. I think our dishwasher is from 1980 and the door always falls off. VERY IMPORTANT: if you want to live on the top floor or in a two bedroom with vaulted ceilings DONT! THERE IS NO INSULATION so in the summer our electric bill $230 and in the winter its about $200 because there is no way to keep the place cool or warm with no insulation. Also in the master bedroom bathroom there is a air conditioning vent but guess what its not even connected to the ac unit so nothing comes out. Its basically like living in a garage. Believe me pay a little more somewhere else to save yourself hassle with $60-70 water bills, $200 electric bills oh and make sure the thermostat works on your water heater because we had been calling the gas company and complaining we had a leak for a year and a half and everytime they would come they would say it is the water heater so when we told the apartment we wanted a new water heater they said there was nothing wrong with it except for the fact it had soot on the outside of it and our gas bills were $50-180 every month and no one from the apartment would help us fix anything or even help us to find out why our bill was so high. Another thing is the air conditioner its about 10 years old and is so filthy it doesn't cool your apartment one bit!!!! im in my second floor apartment right now with extra fans we bought going full blast, the ac set to 70, all the lights off and it is 85degreesin this piece of sh*t apartment. Seriously reconsider going somewhere else it not worth the hassle and high bills!!!!!!
