I have lived at Parkwood Sqaure for almost 2 years and I couldn't be happier! The schools in this area are great and the office staff and maintence team are wonderful! Anytime that I submit a work order, it's always done asap! I am a single mom and my porch light recently went out, I asked the maintence man if he could please fix it the following day because I didn't feel comfortable being at home by myself with no porch light. That same night, 30 minutes before his shift was over, he immediatly got to work on it! In a previous review, the person was complaining about our manager smoking-which she does, but when the phone rings, she puts her ciggerette out to answer it, if someone starts walking up to the office, she puts her ciggerette out to take care of that person. As for the noise, on the weekends-yeah sometimes it may get a little loud but at 10 PM, everyone calms down and parts ways. I have young children and I have never had to worry about taking them outside to play or anything. And as for the drug dealers-I have never seen any such thing go on around here, and I am friends with quite a few of the residents out here and I am constantly outside hanging out and talking with everyone. If one of your neighbors do happen to get to loud late at night, most all of them you can mention it to them and it stops, and if for some reason this is not the case, if you let the management aware of it, they will get it taken care of. When I moved in, there was a roach problem in my kitchen but they have a pest control service that comes out and sprays, after just a couple of treatments, the roaches were gone and I haven't had a problem since. I would recomend this property to anyone-infact I have and have had several of my friends move in and enjoy it just as much as I have!

I have been for several years and really like my apartment.I enjoy it even more since sunridge came in as they got rid of a lot of deadbeats that were living here! Lots of gang looking thugs and strippers who brought in unsavory looking characters- hanging outside being loud - that really ruins a place!I have never had any bugs, well i did have some ants once in my bathroom and I called and they sent out the pest control man and they took care of it. I dont appreciate anyone badmouthing this office. They have taken care of me and my apartment and I dont want to live anywhere else.

I moved here in June 2006 into an adorable loft apt. Lived in that apartment for a year and half, wanted a bigger place, looked around but decided to transfer to the 2 bedroom. IT WAS PERFECT. The staff was always courteous and took care of any work orders brought to their attention. The maintenance, several times, went above and beyond what was needed, coming out after hours once for a flood and staying until the carpet company arrived to take care of my problem. THANK YOU GUYS! As to this other review posted in Sept - I would assume that these residents have personal issues and are taking it out on management. I have made many friends in this community and would recommend the apts without reservation! You guys keep your chin up, this too shall pass : )

parkwood square estates' staff are unprofessional, unclean, rude and down-right discriminatory. i read a review from october of 2007 on this same website describing the way you are ignored if a problem DARES to arise regarding your unit. today is september 10, 2009 and it sounds like things haven't changed a bit. as far as being unprofessional, the staff here has no problem telling other tenants about your business, using profanity, smoking in the leasing office and coming to work looking as if they have just rolled out of bed. also, if you happen be a homosexual i would highly recommend passing by parkwood square estates in your apartment searching trek. it appears to me that this "lifestyle" is completely unacceptable to the present management. it is not only obvious to the ones who live this way, but also by neighboring tenants as well. the discrimination and harassment is beginning to get out of control. to sum up my review i would like to say that you get what you pay for. yes, parkwood square estates may seem "cheaper" than surrounding complexes, but is it REALLY worth paying 1% less if the price you pay comes with unprofessional staff and place you dread coming home to' or would you even call a place like this home?
