Apartment Reviews for 1200 Enfield - Austin

I've lived here for 2 years and am moving because I got engaged. This is a great place to live in one of the best neighborhoods in Austin and pay a decent price. The place has been cleaned up and there have been tons of fixes to the building in the time I have lived here. The management is nice and has gotten better in the time I've lived here. I give it a thumbs up and would stay here if I wasn't moving on and buying else where.

I had a great experience living at 1200 and 1208 Enfield. I lived there while in college and then again as a business professional. The building has tons of character. Its old with modern touches.. the management is nice.. straight forward. Requests for repairs happened relatively quickly. I'd live there again.

Look at the older reviews and you'll see that Klein Group steals deposits. If you live here, make sure you have a copy of the lease and do everything to get your deposit back: 1) Before you move out send your forwarding address certified mail to them. 2) If they don't return it in 30 days send a letter threatening to take them to small claims court. 3) If they still don't return it (don't be surprised) under TX law you can get 3x the deposit back in small claims court. Worst comes to worst they'll have their lawyer call you (don't tell him too much) and make you a minor offer rather than go to court. <P>

Great place if you want to live downtown but not pay downtown prices <P>

Nice place, great location, high speed internet, water, gas included. Wold much rather live here that in one of those huge complexes like AMLI <P>
