Review Title:   Water Bill Runs $44.25 For A 644 Sq. An Climbing E

I WOULD NOT RECOMEND CHEZ MOI APARTMENTS FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS. Chez Moi could be an ok place to live if Chez Moi had new management for the following reasons. Water bill has tripled since new owner's or management has taken over. August water bill was $24.00. October Water bill increased to $47.00 from $24.00. November water bill was $63.55. I am afraid to see what next month wate bill will be. I am sure it will increase another $10.00 to $15.00. I would not be surprised by looking at the rate of increase my Dec. water bill may be close to $80.00. November water bill for a 655 sq. foot apartment with one person living in apartment was $31.86. November water bill for a 644 sq. foot apartment with married couple was $44.07. November bill for a 1126 sq. apartment with 3 people was $72.98. Not enough parking. Be prepared to keep your hiking shoes with you when you park. Will have to walk a long long way to apartment. Covered parking is even just has bad. Apartment paid I'm sure big bucks to up grade access gates to a really nice security gate system but never close access security gates for tenants to use. Their have been quite a few tenants automobiles who windows have been knocked out. Items have been stolen out of the back of pick up trucks due to access security gates never being closed. So, just as well to say no acess gates at this apartment project. Management did spend again more big bucks to put a completed fence up but waste of money due again to updated expensive security acess gate being left open all the time. Also, outside people/homeless etc can acess project tenants property by going though the pool. Pool area never locked at night. Pool area has no security acess from outside even if expensive security acess gates or closed by individuals on foot. However, apartment management did spend big bucks againt to completly fence apartment area in but again no secuirty acess though pool area and expensive security access gates never closed. Apartment management again did spend big bucks for a paint exterior job and tree trimming but the inside is outdated and has ugly berber carpet with no pad insulation underneath. No insulation in floors. Down stairs tenants can hear the upstair neighboor just simple walk across their floor. Downstairs tenants can hear upstairs neighboor's dishwasher, shower, washing machine and everything else. just about. Appliances are old and out dated. Counter tops are ugly and old/worn. Their are no activtes for tenants as you will find at many other apartment projects for less monthly rate or about the same monthly rent rate. Works who have been painting the aprtment come early and work even early on Saturdays waking tenants up who work evening shifts. Tenants received no compersation for consturction disruptions due to painting etc outside of projects buildings. Tenants only received a triple digit increase in their water bill once the painting and face lift started on buildings. I would sugges that any perspective tenant request to see the actual billing from the city water bill and talk to the tenants about their water bill before moving in unless you don't mind paying $60.00or more for water. I am sure the water bill will continue due to increases already each month as evidents. Apartments are not very energy efficent either on gas and elec. Their are much nicer partment projects for about the same rate or less from what I have found. I moved into a 3-2-1 car garage apartment for less with 1,100 sq. feet with a lower water bill. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AS A EX-TENANT AT CHEZ MOI. REASON I MOVED OUT WAS AND DID NOT RENEW MY LEASE WAS DUE TO EXPENSIVE INCREASES IN WATER BILL. WAS AFRAID TO STAY TO HOW HIGH WAS THE MANAGEMENT GOING TO GO ON WATER BILL. (SCAREY)
