I don't even know where to begin. This place was fine (for the most part) when it was Marquis at Walker's Bluff and owned by CWS. Now that Nolan Real Estate has moved in and replaced all office staff(save one) this place is unbearable. I wish I had known that we were going to be bought out to a new company a month after I signed a new lease. Biggest mistake ever. Granted the apartments aren't all that bad, for the area and price, it's NOT worth it to live here due to all the added expenses ie: outrageous water bill, break ins to vehicles (yes it's happened to us more than once), no parking available, not a secure complex, and really the worst of all is the office staff. they could really not give a sh*t less about the tenants. every time you go in there they are rude and unhelpful. walker's bluff used to have a 24 hour matinence guarentee, and stuck to it or gave money off your rent. these people take weeks, and usually need to be called several times before they come, and then it still ususally isnt' fixed. we have given up trying to be nice to these people as they don't seem to realize the tenants are what pays their salaries. i can't wait to move out when my lease is up. i'm sure that's what they want to, based on how they treat us. and i'm sure it won't be hard to get someone new to rent this place, due to all the bullshit stuff they have been "improving" our property with. it looks nice to an outsider, but once you move in, you realize none of it's practical, or they just plain lied to you. and the funny thing is, a lot of people here have the same complaints, at least the ones i've talked to. too bad management can't figure it out. good luck to anyone who is unfortunate enough to live here.
