1. Severe parking spot shortage coupled with aggressive towing policy.

2. Pedernales electric charges OVER 2 TIMES AS MUCH for electricity compared to Austin City Power (all else being equal).

The horrible parking situation has forced me to park in a handicapped spot for 3 months straight. Then, they come and tow my car and charge me $300 to get it out. Same thing happens to my friends when they come to visit me here. I have asked them 3 times to straighten this situation out, but they simply acknowledge the problem but refuse to do anything about it. They will tow you in a heartbeat, even though it is their fault that you cannot find a proper place to park. Also, Pedernales is a monopoly in the northwest part of Austin, and I would recommend avoiding these price-gougers at all costs. Your power bill will double or triple even after accounting for changes in season and efficiency of appliances. You have been warned! I would recommend south austin or round rock/pflugerville, avoid Avendaro!
