Apartment Review for Barton Creek Landing Apt

the management here is awful. over the past week 6+ cars' tires have been slashed, supposedly by an angry resident. Both my brother's and boyfriends' cars as well as the apartment golf carts were on the list of random tenants victimized. the first time it happened (to my brother) their response was lacadasical at best (oh yea, someone's been doing that to our golf carts...and there was someone that came in to tell us about 4 cars with flat tires...) and they made vague promises about what would be done about this problem (we were gonna put out a camera...yea we'll probably do that...). the second time it happened (a full week later to my bf) i was INFURIATED, and found out that they were actually going to do, thats right, NOTHING. ive filed police reports on my own, but that can only get you so far when its property damage....unlike things like RAPE AND ASSAULT. lucky them. the manager ever so politely informed me that because its not person on person violence, they arent required to do ANYTHING...therefore they refuse to compensate anyone for damages (obviously), refuse to put up security cameras ("that adds to our liability" she tells me), and they refuse to notify the residents that it is happening repeatedly and that they will be doing nothing about it. im afraid for my safety because someone is walking around with a knife at night and the managament basically tells me that its MY PROBLEM?! are you f-ing kidding me? DONT LIVE HERE-the management will hide behind the law and do the absolute minimum in order to not get sued. <P>
