Apartment Review for Barton Creek Landing Apt

Nice location near the green-belt, but management unresponsive or downright rude. <P>
Twice fire alarms have been set-off in the early morning hours (2pm and 3pm) by drunken party animals. When you call the "after-hours emergency #" you get an answering service who offers NO assistance (advice was call the fire department to see if they can shut it off). <P>
When this issue was escalated to apt mgmt the attitude was that it was my problem and "no one else had complained." They made no effort to enforce their own rules or the city's noise ordinance. <P>
When I reported a neighbor who was neglecting their animals - letting the dog out unattended, same dog pooping on the sidewalk, cats living on the deck frequently with no food or water, an otdoor cat box that would make passers-by gag - the response from management was "we really can't do anything about it." <P>
A maintenance request to have our window repaired has been pending for more than 30 days (60 days?) <P>
Maintenance guy (when you can talk to him rather than management) is great! Has responded on the spot several times when I've talked to him one-on-one. <P>
Very nice lady acts as social director/welcome person and really works to create a community atmosphere (game nights, event calendars, etc.) <P>
