I have lived in 3 apartments in my life and Broadstone Travesia is by far the best. Everyone is so friendly, staff is alert and the apt. itself is beautiful. I highly reccommend living here and would rent anywhere else.

Lived here for 14 months in a 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment itself was great - all new, modern and clean. Plenty of storage space and a good design.

Walls seemed pretty thick and I mostly couldn't hear anyone in the neighbor's apartments, although occasional loud noises outside could be heard (maintenance staff, people playing music loudly in their car, etc.) - probably to be expected in an apartment complex however.

The office staff were very friendly and always helpful. No problems there.

Parking was generally good. Occasionally it would get parked up on random nights for no apparent reason, which I could never work out. On two occasions I had to park far from the apartment, but normally I could park right next to it. You do have to pay extra if you want undercover or garage parking.

The pool is good, but often crowded during the day on weekends. However, it didn't bother me since I was usually able to go on weekdays and evenings when it was nearly empty.

Biggest downside for us was that although the location was good in that it's close to a lot of shopping/business areas and both Mopac and I-35, there are no sidewalks on the main road and there's nothing much in walking distance otherwise, so you always have to drive. Probably wouldn't bother everyone, though.

Overall would recommend if you like the location.

If you value peace & quiet don't move to this complex. The walls & floors are paper thin and noise has been a constant issue since I moved in to my apartment. Other than this problem I would rate Broadstone Travesia very highly. The manager, Cathy, has been great trying to resolve the noise issue; however, even great management can't fix cheap construction.

I ve been living here for nearly a year and I absolutely love it. To start off, the place is new. It was built this past year, so I m the first person to ever live in my unit. There are garden tubs, linen closets, granite countertops, simulated wood flooring, etc. There are some really nice fixtures too. The pool is awesome as well. Overall, I just think it s a really nice community. It was a huge step up from my last apartment -- I lived near UT campus, so I was basically paying for location and had zero amenities. Not to mention my last apartment also had THE worst management (900 W. 23rd at West Campus).

The shower faucet was starting to come off a little, and I called them to let them know about it while I was at work...and by the time I got home, it was already fixed. I had called them another time at work as well to ask them what the size of the air filter was because I was going to stop by to get one after work, and they told me not to worry about it, that they d change it for me, and they did by the time I got home. They have a 24 hour guarantee, and they really stick to it. This was awesome because at my last apartment, it d take days or weeks to even get a hold of them. Only one person worked at their office (which wasn t even at our apartment), and it was just ridiculous.

It s a gated community, and the gates are closed in the evening, throughout the night, and early morning. Just open during the day. The staff is friendly and nice.

OH, and on my way out to work in the morning one day during the winter, they set up a table by the gates to give the residents driving out breakfast and hot chocolate. They have events all the time, leave notices on your door to remind you of upcoming holidays, deadlines, etc. Just really organized and great. It s all extremely helpful.

You don t realize how great and important good management and service is until you have the worst service ever...then when you have great service, you just realize it really is the best and makes your stay that much better. Anyway, I ve rambled on. But definitely thumbs up to this place. Check it out if you re interested in living up north. I m sad to move. I work far away so my commute sucks, but if not, I d definitely continue to stay here. I ve had zero problems since I ve been there.
