Apartment Reviews for M Station Apartments - Austin

Pros:
Incredibly low utilities owing to the solar paneling.
Great sq ft-price ratio (especially compared to area apartment complexes.) Excellent dog area/ walk way along the creek in back. Convenient to downtown/UT. Nice neighbors. New appliances.

Cons:
For some reason they do frequent inspections, and the reason is usually not specified. So far there have been at least 3 inspections in 5 months. I understand that some apartments are government subsidized, but for those who pay full market price for their apartment it just seems odd and intrusive. And pretty inconvenient if you don't already start your day before 8:30AM.

Parking is less than ideal. Still waiting on parking passes, and more often than not you have to walk a pretty far distance from your car to apartment.

Also issues with getting mail properly. It is a new building and some businesses/banks/corporations will not initially recognize it. Also the address sometimes gets cut out of the address window on the envelope. Sounds weird, but there it is.

Your only choice for internet service is AT&T. Took them 6+ weeks to install in my apartment, which was frustrating since I work from home a couple of days a week. However, since installation there have been no issues.
