Review for The Block Apartments

The place really does look great, but unfortunately thats one of the few reasons worthy of staying here. I laughed reading the other reviews because they are on point with what its like living here, especially the review from 11-17-08 which is very accurate.

Just finally settling in and after only 4 months we've recieved a notice that our rates were going up an additional $290 per month for Fall 09 - "no negotiating" and if we didnt commit by end of November then are apartment may be leased.

As the others said, the internet is a complete joke; Contacted the office several times, told to contact the the wireless company providing the service but did nothing to resolve the problem for 3 months now and now the office claims that the internet will not fit everyones needs so its not their responsibility. Neighbors are noisy and do party quite often but should be expected considering its in the middle of all the Frats and Sororities.

If you can negotiate the price then this place is definately worth giving a shot for the convenience of being close to school but its definately not worth the asking price..
