Apartment Reviews for The Cliffs At Barton Creek - Austin

In one word: atrocious.

In several words, if you spend just one night a month at Cliffs it may be suitable.

Apartments in good shape - though expensive as measured by $ per square foot (especially to comps.

just a mile away [and managed by the same company)).

Staff is inexperienced in communication and outright rude at times.

The business center typically has no paper or ink...seemingly always "on order".

The coffee machine works well though.

Wi-fi in public areas is just plain incorrect.

Their is wi-fi in business office yet that is about it -- other public areas = nothing.

Hot tub was closed, from what is understood, it's misuse by residents.

One must wonder if the pool will be closed as well.

Security: some lights do not work; ok...yet at times the gates do not work either and stay open all day and all night.

Outsourcing of help: do not be surprised to find contractors in your place "fixing" things, for which you may have to clean up.

Some say that that is part of the "allure" and Cliffs experience.

Parking: goodness.

Be prepared for tow warnings, not be able to find parking and finding other cars blocking your exit from your space due to the non-availability of parking spaces.

Trash pickup: which costs over $25/mo is somewhat sporadic.

Experience is that 50% of the time trash was picked up.

Besides the inconvenience, no credit was the expense was given.

I realize this review is negative yet despite the nice views of the City this property just does not measure up to quality living.

Worst Parking.
Bad maintenance.
Very loud since next to Mopac.
Office staff is rude and snobbish even though their property is not worth it.
Most people do not renew leases.

Would never move back.
