Apartment Reviews for The Willows Apartments - Austin

I completely regret renewing my lease after the first year. This apartment complex has made living a horrific experience for me. More then 5 times in the last year and a half, there's been raw SEWAGE seeping into the parking lot and conveniently enough right in front of the steps where I have to walk to get to my apartment. I wont describe the sh** I had to jump over. DISGUSTING. I've never seen anything like it and so much of it in my life! One of the worst spills of raw sewage, no one at the complex did anything for two days until another resident called 311 to report them. If you drive by the complex and notice the parking lot is empty, it's because no one wants to live there.
It's amazing how the office always REFERS to their contract when you have an issue or need something fixed. They refer to it when it benefits them, but since there's nothing in there that states they HAVE to fix something, I guess it clears their conscience. Here's an example:
A rotted tree on their property which should have been removed way before I moved in eventually fell totalling multiple vehicles. Thank goodness no one was hurt. Instead of being compensated in someway(I talked to one of the individuals who's truck was smashed)The Willows decided it was an act of God. They even blame God for their own laziness and bad management! How do they sleep at night?
