Review for Crosswinds Apartments

I go to Crosswinds because they had an apartment available at a certain date that I needed. I give them my application fee and security deposit after the management saying that they will hold that apartment for me. A week later, I called to ask confirm that the apartment is definitely secured for me since I will be moving soon. The leasing agent couldn't give me that security after I gave them my security deposit, didn't want to run my credit because of the certain date I needed to move in (leaving me only 2-3 weeks to look for an apartment if I happened to be denied), and gave me a run-around about move-in specials depending on "special units" or how bad the carpet is. They just wasn't making me so comfortable nor secured about getting that apartment and a big run-around! Basically, I was schemed because they wouldn't give my security deposit back (even though they guaranteed me the apartment at the signing of lease) then go back and couldn't guarantee me until the credit check is approved in september (when the were going to run it because of a certain move-in date). Be aware...read before you sign! I even talked to the corporate office and they were no use either! I got set-up and they ran with my money! Just shows you how poorly handled this apartment is! UNFAIR! I haven't moved in yet and they screwed me over!
