Review for Village In The Woods Apartment

My boyfriend has lived in Village in the Woods for 2 years, and I have been there for the last 6 months with him. This complex was probably once very nice, but it is extremely run down, and attracts seedy tenants. The management was responsive to some of our individual unit problems, but completely UNresponsive to the overall complex problems. The pot holes in the parking lot were incredibly huge and according to my boyfriend, he had been complaining about them for the whole 2 years (they finally just fixed them). There are holes in the outside of the buildings, and the whole complex just looks like it's falling apart.

There are a lot of kids in the complex, but the environment is very gang-feeling and not conducive to my boyfriend's son wanting to play outside. Usually he is afraid to go out because he gets bullied by the other kids and beat up on. There is no security that I am aware of - no gates, nothing.

Definitely not recommended unless you can't afford to live elsewhere.
