It is the first place that I have ever known (and liked) every neighbor in my building. The neighborhood is great: I wanted to live in an energetic, heterogeneous, no pretense, art-conscious, bohemian-inspired neighborhood. I wanted to live amongst a driven group of people that were open to new ideas, and more simply than that I wanted to live amongst a group of people that were willing to say more than "Hi." if you passed them in the hall. For those that want a private gym, a swimming pool, an apartment full of carpet but devoid of character, - don't move to the Junius/Peak properties. Junius/Peak properties, and most all of the Lower East Dallas neighborhoods, are the place to be if you like living amongst a diversity of people and amongst the old-world charm that defines this area.
