I've rented apartments and houses here in the metroplex and I've always had a 30 move-out notice. I've got 1 month left on my lease and when I went down to give my notice they said it has to be for 60 DAYS. This is a rip-off. Just to gouge your pocket for another months rent. I'm sure they've trapped a lot of people into having to pay an extra month. The maintenance here is very poor. Rotting wood on support columns as well as on wooden supports that the top of stairs are attached to. The plumbing has repeatedly stopped up. I've had sewer water overflow from the washing machine drain and flood the kitchen. Over 3 months ago raw sewage backed up into the sink in the bathroom. The plumber came to fix it and tore the wall out to get to the main sewer pipe. Afterwards the wall was repaired but the wall still has not been painted. The carpet is a cheap light beige that is way to easily stained and since the drainage outside the front door is poor, water stands when it rains and when you come in with any water on your shoes the carpet stains. With the easily stainable carpet used management can and I'm sure will keep your deposit. Overall opinion: Management DOES NOT care about tenants. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE.
