I am counting down the days until I move. All in all these are not that bad, but there are a lot of shoddy things around. On a tour, everything will look pretty good, but once you are there and actually have a walk around the entire complex you will be dissappointed. There are exposed wires, electrical boxes that are not locked closed, rotting wood...in some cases it is on the underneath part of balconies (I would not feel safe standing on them). Not to mention that I picked up about 50 nails outside my apartment the first week...most were rusted. The appliances are old and are not in the best locations. I have a row of drawers that are next to the oven, I was only able to use 2 of them since the others were blocked by the oven door and would not open. My oven has gone out and had been replaced with a much older one that the numbers are worn off. The air conditioner started pouring water in the hallway at 3 in the morning. That took about 2 weeks to completly fix...they ripped up the carpet and didn't get that back down for over a week and we had holes in our walls also until I guess they got enough of us griping. At times there would be loud parties, but that is really to be expected since there are a lot of college students that live there. The area is good, but I am sure that there are better apartments for that price.
