I lived in Gleneagles over a year and a half ago. When I was there I was asked to move after 6 months of being in my apartment. I transferred to another unit per their request and was asked to pay another deposit because my deposit was to cover damages in my other unit. I only lived there for 6 months and hadn't even quite unpacked anything. What damages!!! When I moved to my new unit, I was greated by a large snake in my toilet and one on my porch! I went to management who told me that I had to be over-exgerrating. I made them come to my apartment right then and was like, "Are u @#$ing kidding me!" They didn't want to remove the repitiles, so my girlfriend did. I informed them. I was not paying rent for the month, because they failed to uphold their end of an agreement made to have the repitiles removed and to provide some type of pesticide for the apartment.

When my lease was up, management stated that I failed to provide a 6o day move out notice. I learned early to make copies of everything and always pay with cashiers checks because they could easily be tracked if lost/stolen/or deposited. I was given a letter that ended up going to collections stating that I owed over $1000.00 when I moved out. What they failed to realize is that I made copies of everything, every check, every letter sent to me, my move-out notice, EVERYTHING. I handed them a stack of information about 2 inches thick and told me that I didn't owe them @#$!. By this time I had been to collections. I went up to the complex every day on my lunch for 3 weeks straight to get the matter straight. Because of my bad attitude and my lack of patience to deal with the situation even longer, it finally was taken care of.

My advice to anyone moving to this complex. Invest in a copy machine and keep records of everything they give you or you give them. I don't know what planet they are on, but they loose everything and could care less about your well being.
