Review for Preston Villas Apartments

I'm a grad student, and when I first moved to Dallas, I lived in...well, not the nicest neighborhood. After two years, I found a roommate, and we went looking for a nicer place. We found Preston Village. We now live in a two floor unit, 2br, 1bath, with hardwood floors, built in bookshelves, and a lot of character. It's such a nice change from the beige box that describes almost every other apartment I've seen in Dallas (read: the Village). There are three 'con's to living here: no pool, no fitness center, and window air conditioning. None of these bother me a bit. There's a 24-hr fitness very close by, and the window A/C does just fine. There are huge trees, great neighbors that hold get-togethers in the back yard (yes! I said yard!), and you're allowed to garden! It's fantastic, and it feels like home. I walk at night and never think twice.
