Review for Rock Creek Apartments

When I first inquired about moving in, the office was VERY friendly and helpful. The model home was really nice and I was excited to move in. The location couldn't be better. Everything you could ever need or want is just minutes away. When I went to pick up my key, my apartment was not ready and I couldn't start moving my things in as originally planned. I got "new" carpet installed. The cheapest carpet on the market. It immediately starts coming apart the moment you start vaccuming. They supposedly redo everything (kitchen cabinets, bathroom, etc.) at least, that's what I was told when I moved in. Forget the nice kitchen countertops you see in the model apts. You get old wooden cabinets and countertops that have probably been there since the beginning of time. It's so bad that I can actually lift up a whole section of the counters right off the floor. The bathroom was only sprayed with white paint and wasn't even cleaned. I STILL have hairs from the previous owners stuck on with paint to the walls, and shower. (GROSS) I pulled out a wad of hair from the drain which was absolutely disgusting. I had to do a major cleaning job before I even moved everything in. If you have a maintenence problem, forget it. You will literally have to call 2-3 times EVERYDAY to get it resolved, and sometimes that's not even enough. You'll have to physically go to the office and complain. I still don't have any screens on my window or patio, so forget opening the door or window for some fresh air. There are bugs consistently. No matter how many times you get your apt sprayed. There is absolutely NO parking. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention. Now, if you want satellite, forget it. The only places you can mount your dish for a signal are now being banned by the apartments due to the "structural damage" the satellites cause. Believe me, the low prices and false sales pitch they make in the office is NOT worth the stress of living here. Take your money and run...
