Apartment Reviews for Snug Harbor - Dallas

High sex offener neighborhood, high crime. Pay big personal water bill. No on site security. I have had one car stolen, windows smashed out of another. The latest owners got rid of on site security personnel who were very much needed. Now some service drives through maybe a couple of times a day. Personally I have only seen them one time driving through. I waited well over a month for them to replace the outside light on the landing. Never got a response when actually e-mailing the co. who owns it. Now I have a PERSONAL (one resident) water bill with no meter just my so called share of over 40.00 this month. The out of state company that now bills for that plans on including exciting features!! How I can conserve water!! Why should I? I am paying for way more now than I could ever use. We are supposedly not paying for landscaping water/pool/laundry etc. Well don't see how that is possible. Perhaps they are just estimating 'their share' as owners just as they estimate our 'share.' They tore up one of my walls for the benefit of the vaccant upstairs apt plumbing. Took all day, never painted the huge patch in my wall. Used my electricity to run power tools upstairs and never even asked if they could plug into my juice which I PAY FOR. The local Albertsons closed, an insider said huge theft was the reason. The store was at Audelia and Forest. The Tom Thumb just across the freeway left years ago. Blockbuster and Mini Hypermart left. Only big grocery is Krogers at Greenville and Forest, across the corner from that is the most cramped Dollar General in Dallas. They are constantly out of whole shelves of stuff, boxes everywhere during the long restocking process. So much for the wonderful shopping in the area. Without on site security, we could return to having all the drug selling apartments back, now that was no picnic. Had a gun stuck in my face after coming back from dinner a few years ago. At least once a week someone pounds on my door in the middle of the night looking for some other resident. But when they get the right door, they stay only a couple minutes..... Odd <P>
