Review for The Timberlinks At Denton Apartments

Where to begin.... I did a lot of shopping around in the Denton area for an apartment. Upon viewing the Timber Links model apartment I was sold - the price was great and so was the apartment. I signed the lease and then everything went to shit. Nevermind that I was told I could move in a day earlier than my lease stated... which wasn't true, but when I did arrive on the actual move in date the apartment was FAR FROM READY. Let me tell you it was fun trying to delay the movers by TWO EXTRA DAYS. Yes, they needed two extra days to get the place ready. The carpet was stained and in bad condition, the screens from windows were missing, everything was dusty and dirty including countertops and drawers (which still had hair from the previous owner), and did I mention the bugs? LOTS of bugs!! Lets just say you better love bugs because they aren't going anywhere. The apartment staff informed me that because the apartments were so new (yeah right, 2 years old) the extermintor couldn't do anything about the bugs... which I thought was bullshit until the guy came out and the bugs did NOT stop coming. I keep a very clean apartment so I know it's not me. Oh, by the way if you love nails or jagged pieces of metal sticking out of your carpet this is the place for you! Moral of the story is.... while the place looks nice from the outside, looks can be decieving. The apartment staff is great before you sign your lease, however once that lease is signed you're just another name.... another name they cannot be bothered to help.
