Review for The Timberlinks At Denton Apartments

I hated the Timberlinks. They try to look nice, but once you live there you realize that you are being overcharged. The one-bedroom is tiny. Not enough closet space. There were ant/spider problems in my whole building at one point. It is located very close to a landfill, sometimes it smells bad outside. Every thing in the apartment is cheap. I moved into a brand new one and there were many problems. I hated having to call and call and wait for someone to fix various things. You can always hear if your neighbor is watching tv. The staff arent very friendly. One good thing about the apartment was the gym. That alone could offset the price for some. When my husband and I moved out, I worked very hard to clean the apartment, so we would get our deposit back. We lived there a year and I was charged for new carpet, paint, and cleaning. When I questioned these charges, I was told that no matter what, they will take these things out of your deposit. My last apartment did not do this, so I think they are just out for the money. That really made me angry. Also, a building down from us was disgusting. Someone just let their dog go to the bathroom where-ever, and didnt clean it up! Obviously that is the owner's fault firstly, but the apartments should have noticed and taken care of it. I mean there were hundreds of poops out there! Gross. I think there are better apartments out there. I would not recommend this one at all!
