Review for The Timberlinks At Denton Apartments

Where do I begin? Lets start with the good. The golf course, clubhouse(gym, tanning beds, etc.) that's about it. It looks nice on the outside but for the price extremely small. I am a single man who rented a two bedroom(kids on weekends) and could barely fit my stuff in the closets. As for the quality many people have already mentioned the carpet with the staples sticking up lets see the shower door came off track within the first two weeks, there was a loose drawer so I tried to tighten it, the screws were too long and penetrated through the facing, the kitchen floor Ha! what a joke. Security? No gates, no people on watch. Let me throw this story in real quick. Well when I moved in there was a vacant apartment next to mine. A couple of months went by and one night on the way back from grocery shopping the police were arresting two men who apparently had broken into that apartment and had been living there(shady lookin fellas too) Oh yeah don't let me forget that there is a man living in a friggin teepee across the street. Desite all that I didn't mind I was workin two jobs never there basically there to sleep. But then a month after I move out I am sent an outrageous bill. I was charged $450 for replacing the kitchen floor which I left a quarter sized scrape in. When asked why my deposit didn't cover it they said they had to clean the carpets and repaint the entire apartment( I thought they were required to anyway) but like I said I was never home and I'm not a smoker so repaint everything? Then they charged me $5 a piece for the drip pans on the stove. I am a single man I don't cook I think I made some ramen 5 times on the same burner. The creditor even told me he was told to collect on $20 for drip pans. Anyway I guess what I'm sayin is I wouldn't recommend it.
