Review for The Timberlinks At Denton Apartments

As you have read from other reviews you will be billed after you leave. Carpet, drip pans, toilet seat cover. Yup! We got the bill too! 840.00 total to replace the carpet and above mentioned items. They say the carpet should last 5yrs! Right! Plus we were advd 1/2 the deposit is kept by them to cover the cost of cleaning, make ready fees, and carpet replacement...boy were we ever fooled! Tried calling the office manager - got no where. Called corporate office - got no where. What a joke. Was the carpet stained - sure there were spots - but heck - we were there almost 2 1/2 years...and for very light carpet thats considered "normal wear and tear" by law - but not by the Timberlinks. Nope - thats considered Damaged and must be replaced for an astronomical amount. I checked with 3 other friends who moved out before me and come to find out - they were also charged for these same things. Then they take 3 weeks to send the bill and give you 30days from the day you moved out to pay - so really only a week - then you go to collections! Stay Away! I will never every recommend these again and must apoligize to those who I did recommend them to.
