Review for The Timberlinks At Denton Apartments

I don't understand all the bad reviews for this place, maybe I am just less picky being a student. I have lived here for two years but will be moving out next month to live in a house.

For students, this place is better than anything you will find next to campus, as far as size and price. We pay $745/mo. for a two bed, two bath just under 1100 sq. ft. Of course it's not perfect on the inside, as some things appear to be rather cheap, but overall it has been worth it for the large size.

I have had no problems with the staff here, although I have only had a few encounters with them. Every time I went to the office they were very nice and helpful. Never called maintenance while here so I can't comment on them.

Yeah so there is an odd guy who lives in a mini junkyard with Indian tepees, but who cares, he doesn't bother me and I don't bother him.

While I have enjoyed my time here, there are some lows to living here. As far as I know you are stuck with their very average cable/internet package. Our ceiling fans were pretty wobbly. Loud fan in the bathroom every time you turn on the light, although this can be fixed by removing the light fixture and simply unplugging the fan. Thin walls...I can often hear footsteps from upstairs or the new neighbors and their loud rap music, but it happens rarely so I don't really care.

One of the bests parts to living here has been the amazing insulation of our apartment. In the two years here, not once have we had to turn on the heat. Even when its 15 degrees outside it stays a comfortable temperature inside. Our highest electric bill has only been around $125, and our last one was only $59! Not bad for a near 1100 sq. ft. apartment.

Overall I would recommend to a student looking for a big apartment at a decent price, who is willing to drive to campus. If someone can handle small annoyances that are typical with most apartments they will enjoy this place...just wish they would wire it for Verizon FIOS so I could take full advantage of my HD TV.
