Review for University Uptown Apartments

I moved into the apartments right when they opened. I thought great, I'll be the first to live in my unit (considering the apts. cater to college students). They were offering free rent for June and July, but only the units that were finished during the offer, received the benefits. Noise level is somewhat high because the wall are thin (nothing but primer on the walls so be careful about spilling things). The maintence had a problem with knocking before entering your apt. Management was horrible, especilly once a new company took over. I had my car vanadalized, and stuff stolen from my balcony. There was supposed to be a actual police officer who worked as security on the property, but he was of no use. I felt like I was in a dorm all over again, when it came to parking. If anyone lived or went to UNT, you how the parking is. I would never recommend this apt. to anyone. It is too expensive for the little amount of quality service you receive.
