I moved here trying to get away from a noisy apartment complex and move into something nicer than what I was renting before. The second day we were here, both bedrooms flooded with water from a storm. There response time was ridiculous. It took them 7 days to get someone here to even start any kind of repair work on the floors. On the 7th day the sent someone over to remove the pad from under the carpet and spray some mildew and mold stuff. It took them another 7 days before they got anyone here to place dryers on the floor and still another day before anyone came to put new pad down. Meanwhile when they brought the fans the floor was already dry from the fans we used in the bedrooms. I have two small children, one is 2 1/2 and the other 8 months old. We had the crib and my sons twin size car bed and our big dresser all out in the living room and the dining room, along with all the toys and odds and ends from the rooms that wouldn't fit in them where the floors were wet. They offered to allow us to store our stuff in another apartment, but we wouldn't get any help from their staff. Ya know, I would have been fine with this. But, they had new carpet put in the apartment we were in, just before we moved in. I understand that they were not responsible for the storm, being a natural disaster and all. But!!! My husband lifted up the carpet beofre the pad was put back in...they knew this apartment had a problem with leaking before. The old tack strip that was never pulled up, was totally water rought and damaged from a previous flood. Now that really upset me. Now, I have had a work order in from 10 days ago for problems throughout the apartment and they still haven't fixed any of them. I turned in a new work order two days ago for a leak from the shut off valve for one of the toilets, leaking badly, they still haven't came by. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Further more, for the most part we are surrounded by families with small children, like myself. But the few people around us who don't have children, are up all hours of the night partying and making all kinds of noise, keeping my children up. Parking is joke. You have people parking in the handicapp places who aren't handicap, simply because they are too lazy to walk the distance like the rest us. I took my kids swimming for the first time the other day, the pool was full of misquitos, bugs, and debris. This was already in the late afternoon, someone on maintenance should have already been by to clean out the pool. To top it all off, the gates for the downstairs apartments are not secure the wall and so they dont' shut right, people have stolen stuff off my patio, and they have a wall in the middle of the patio and the bottom floors that prevent anyone with any kind of size to them, from getting to the other side of the patio. My children can fit through the small opening to get to the other side.
