Review for Sand Pebble Apartments

When I moved into the apartment, I complained about the NASTY carpet and the holes in the ceiling. Well, the "came to fix it." They had the carpet shampooed again but that didn't help. That was all they said they could do for it. They fixed the hole in the storage ceiling but when it rained it came through again. The one in my closet has never been fixed, and the livingroom is about to have one as well. I have complained many times but nothing is being done. They are very friendly and say they will fix it though. It took over 2 weeks for them to fix my garbage disposal that didn't work when I moved in. The screen was torn. The locks on my front door STILL don not work and that was in my original paperwork. My lease is over next month and it STILL has not been fixed! i have a lovely balcony that is unsafe because it is missing bolts and the railing is loose. These last issues were never even addressed and I was blown off everytime I mentioned it or wrote a letter to them. I contacted the TAA but that didn't help. It finally got my air conditioner fixed though. It was already 90 degrees for 2 or 3 weeks inside my apartment (80 outside) and they refused to turn on the AC. They have a lockable door for the laundry room with every tenant having a key, but they never have the door closed. There is a sign outside the door to keep it closed, but they don't even go close it when they are in the office and the door is adjacent and viewable from the office. I think the only positive I can say about the apartments are that the staff was friendly though lazy, the setup was awesome, and you can move in fast.
