Apartment Reviews for Mountain Village - El Paso

I sold my home and needed a place to live for a short time while I prepared to move out of town. Their short term lease worked perfectly for me, although I paid slightly higher rent. Management was very supportive, the apartment was clean and move-in ready. I had a downstairs and you can hear the floors creaking when the tenants upstairs walk, but otherwise, these apartments were much quieter than my old neighborhood. I couldn't be more pleased and would happily recommend these apartments to anyone.

I am sorry to say that I am leaving town, otherwise, I would definitely stay here. This has been home for almost five years. There is nothing I DO NOT like about the complex. Management has ALWAYS been GREAT! Parking is good. Maintenance has always been on top of things. The rent is good. I only visited the pool a couple ot times, but it has always been clean, and taken care of. Again, I cannot say anything bad about this place, I would definitely recommend it, and I would definitely come back here to live.

Okay-from reading all these awful reviews i feel the need to defend my place i called home for 2 years- it wasn't that bad! What a bunch of babies! I was very happy-great view-great staff-there were a few maintenace issues but they took care of them within a few days.i'll miss the staff very much- they were wonderful! i think people tend to exaggerate and blow things out of proportion- i was happy- thank you

I've lived in these apartments since mid-September and so far have not had any unusual problems. Its been quiet and I've actually only heard my neighbors to the point where it was a little bothersome once... not bad considering how many people live in this complex. <P>
People complaining about parking should realize that walking a couple further extra steps to a parking space that is a little further from their apt shouldn't be considered a fault of the complex. I call not getting a parking space directly in front of your unit LAZY.. there's no assigned parking so it's not as if someone has taken "your" spot. I've NEVER had a problem with parking. <P>
I've had my a/c and heater worked on but the problems were fixed that day. I had a problem with my heater on a holiday and received a phone call back from the emergency maintenance worker within an hour. I think that's great considering it was a holiday. My biggest complaint would be with the bug problem. However, upon request the complex will have your apt sprayed for insects every week if you wish at no charge. <P>
Overall I think this is a nice place to live. It's in a nice neighborhood and has nice mountainous views. I will definintely be renewing my lease..especially considering the low monthly rent. <P>

First of all, I'd like to start out by saying that before giving a harsh review on anything, a little research might help make a more educated and correct review. Although this complex has had different managers, the management company has remained the same for years and years. I was totally and completely happy- There had been two different managers while i enjoyed my stay at mountain village for 2 years. I had two work order issues, which were taken care right away. I had one noise complaint the whole time i lived there, and it was taken care of right away( I think speaking to the manager directly helped the matter alot!) I always felt safe, after speaking with my neighbors and driving around the complex, there seem to be a handfull of law enforcement living in the apartment community. I think if you just speak up, no matter where you live, helps out what ever situation you may in or complaint you may have. I did in my case, and the problem was solved. Management made it clear that they do not stand for things of that matter, especially when it came to someone's comfort or security. I have moved to a home, but i sadly miss the beautiful mountains and constant breeze in this awesome location- I highly recomment it! The staff that was there as of March 2006 was wonderfull, the greatest customer service any one can ask for! <P>
