Apartment Review for Patriot Apartments

Do not rent from these apartments. They are worst by far. I came down to El Paso with my friend and sister in law to move into the apartments on the date they give me to move in. However my apartments were not ready for another 4-5 days after that date. I wasn't allowed to go look at the apartments the day I got here because they were "installing brand new ceiling fans" (as of brand new i'm not sure about that because some of the light bulb covers do not match the rest) I caught the apartment on fire due to the stove being unlevel. They have give me nothing but trouble about that. They couldnt level the stove up because "it would still be unlevel on one side or the other" They didn't clean the smoke off of nothing just painted over it and told me I had to clean the smoke off the appliances. I'M NOT MAINTENCE! I do have a little one and that is not healthy by no means. They were supposed to fix the carpet and kept sayin the people were coming. So a month later my husband asked them about it and they said they came and I told them not to worry about it. WHY WOULD I SAY DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT WHEN WE HAVE ASKED REPETEDLY? There were nails sticking up out the floor and I was scared to let my son on the floor! They've never replaced the cabinets like they promised. The laundry door keeps falling off and maintence keeps "repairing" it. They paint over everything. When they painted my apartment after the fire there was paint all over all my brand new stuff (Couch, tv, entertainment center, pots and pans etc) We are pcsing soon and we told them before we signed the lease we were pcsing in feb. Now they're trying to make us pay a full month's rent because our notice wasnt 30 days! All they want is money. We paid for all the repairs that got half done because of their excellent maintence (sarcasm) paid for carpet to be fixed that's still not fixed, sprinklers to be fixed that are half way done. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL!
