Our Review for Ridgemar Apartments

Ridgemar Apartments is a complex that is located in a residential neighborhood on the east side of El Paso. The complex is less than a mile from I-10, making for an easy commute to downtown El Paso, which is only 10 miles away. A variety of eateries are located in the vicinity of the Ridgemar Apartments, including Hayahsi Hibachi, Texas Roadhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Julio’s Café Corona. Trevino Outlet Shopping Center is around the corner. The Valle Verde Campus of El Paso Community College is a short drive from the property, making this an ideal home for student renters. Noise seems to be an issue for some reviewers, but management has been made aware of the problem.

Hello everyone I am currently leaving in this apartments and let me tell you that I have been bandalized 3 times in a period of three months. The apartments are in a very bad condition and it seems that all the money they receive from the residents it doesn't even go for apartment upgrades or anything useful. The only good thing is the location but other than that everything else is horrible: maintanence, rent prices fluctuate, cleanliness and security. If you are military you might want to reconsider NOT renting here because it seems that we are the targeted ones to get bandalized more often in this apartments.

Well we have lived here for about 6 months now and we have decided that when our least is up we are going to look elsewhere. For one thing my husband's motorcycle was stolen and we have at least 2 police officers that live here (and his wasn't the only one in the last 6 months). They were no help what so ever and acted like it was an inconvenience that we even mentioned our loss. The apartment is spacious so that is nice however the "balcony" is in serious need of some new lumber and the carpet could have been replaced. Its not really that bad compared to some of the other places I have seen and it was ideal for us at the time because we have a large dog that is a big conveneince for us because we really had a problem finding "pet friendly" properties that would allow a 70lb. dog. My biggest problem is that its just pretty expensive considering what you get. <P>
