Review for Parc Plaza Apartments

My sister and I lived here for just under a year. We really liked our apartment, but we really hated the management. I had several friends and family members take off work to help me move in, and when we got there, the apt wasn't ready. We waited all afternoon, only to be told in the end that the cleaning staff couldn't get around to it. So we moved my stuff in anyway, stacked it all in the living room, and waited for them to clean the apt the next day. If they cleaned it, we couldn't tell. I spent my first week there scrubbing paint splatter off the floors and counters, cleaning the fridge and stove, and trying unsuccessfully to clean the blinds. Maintenance was totally unresponsive, and our complaints to the office about our moving experience were ignored. Once we got settled, it wasn't too bad, we liked our apt, and the neighbors were all very pleasant. Parking was a bit of a gamble. There was a small pool with a hot tub outside our apt, and on weekends during the summer we could hear all the crazy teenagers out there screaming and yelling. We even called the police once on a couple of drunks. The gate access code panel didn't always work, which would have been a real problem if we didn't have the keychain clickers. Some people didn't have them and there would be four or five cars lined up outside the gate waiting for someone with a clicker to come home!

I wouldn't recommend this apartment based solely on our move in experience. The rest of our stay there was relatively okay.
