I moved into my apartment on march 17, 2007 in which at the time the air conditioner was not working. They said that they would have it working by march 19, 2007, which that was a huge lie. I also had a water leak underneath my bathroom sink the office was informed on march 19, 2007 it was not fixed until the third week of april. The carpets are filthy with huge stains on them, ciggarette holes and just about every where inside of the apartment the carpet is lifting up or torn and i was told that the carpets were cleaned twice and it wasn't going to get replaced. There is paint all over carpet, i still have a cracked window in my bedroom i had to put sticks in the window because i'm scared someone will try to break in, screens that need to be fixed and so many roaches its flat out scary. I was told that pest control would be out to spray when i got home one day they left two foggers for me to put out instead. I was told by the apartment manager since the apartments were so cheap that they were not going to replace the carpets. I then had a one on one meeting with the manager and told her maybe the other tenants in this complex didn't have anywhere else to go but that did not apply to me and i didn't appreciate that comment she made. She then offered me to move in to one of their townhomes for a lesser price in june. I went to look at the townhome to see if they started working on it and of course they had not. The window is broken out of it and no work has started as of May 1, 2007. Needless to say the other apartment will not be ready just like the one i moved into. The water has been turned off more times then i can count and just about everyday i have no hot water to take a shower. My bestfriend moved into her apartment on may 1, 2007 and everything is wrong-no air conditioner, she has two bathrooms only one works, there is something stuck in the toilet and on the floor and she was told it would be fixed-it's not fixed yet. She's thinking about turning in her notice to move out and she has not been there a whole week. Its ridiculous to think an apartment establishment is still up and running in this condition.
