I am shocked to read the other reviews who complain of ants, car alarms, dirty/structurally unsound apartments and rude staff!!? Where are these people living?! True, these apts. aren't perfect, but my experience overall has been excellent. My apartment is very clean and the maintenance has responded to just about every request very promptly. The maintenance men are all very friendly and make a point to be friendly if they see you outside. I am impressed by the LACK of bugs in my apartment... I have NEVER seen an ant ever, and I think I have seen one small insect in my apartment ever. The parking situation, I agree, is not the best... but I usually find a spot pretty close to the building. My apartment faces the street (Hulen Bend, a major cut through) so I do experience noise from passing cars (stereos, loud engines) but that is hardly the apartment complexes fault. The one bedroom loft does have a serious lack of storage, but, unknown to most, there is a huge crawl space below the loft bedroom which adds plenty of (inconvenient to reach) storage. I have heard of car break-ins, but have never witnessed any damage. The front security gate is not functioning, but even when it was, it was such a joke, it did not provide security at all, I like it much better non-functioning... much less of a hassle! True the pool was closed for a WEEK in June so they could fix the depth indicator tiles, but what is one week? The complex is always very clean, trash is always picked up. (Although my one complaint is the laundry room, it is usually pretty nasty... but all of the apartments, even the one bedrooms, have full size washer/dryer hookups) I have to say I am very impressed with the quietness in my apartment, I RARELY hear my neighbors. And in the 10 months I have lived here I have only heard a car alarm go off once. So to all of you who may consider these apartments, don't let those other reviews scare you. It really is pretty nice here.
