The Chestnut Ridge Apartments in Fort Worth TX offer apartment homes that have been recently upgraded. You can choose from one of the one or two bedroom floor plans available. Inside you will find modern kitchens with faux granite countertops as well as all black whirlpool appliances and breakfast bars. When new management took over in 2008, residents raved about the friendly staff and pet friendly community. A few recent tenants dislike with management's move out procedures/policies and and the office's disorganization. Others applaud the prompt maintenance crew and affordable rent.

Since the new management company took over, this place is getting much better thanks to the new management and maintenance staff who came into the complex in June 2008. They really do care about the tenants. Management loves pets and take tenant suggestions for improvements to heart.

Parking isn't a premium, especially at the back gate. The exterior wood facade needs work but otherwise looks ok. Loud noise is not tolerated and the community and FWPD are quick to fine offenders. There are a few boom-box cars who push their luck just to be jerks, but they're dealt with quickly. People here look out for each other once they get to know you. It's not really a place for kids to live: no playground or kids area. Many tenants have been here for years and seem quite content on staying.

Upgrades were done in January 2008 to more energy efficient appliances, new carpeting, and bathrooms. We can paint, install fans, or do whatever we want including landscaping our little areas with management approval (which is 99% of the time). Rent is very reasonable for everything that you get. I love that a full size washer & dryer come with your apt.

Due to a job transfer I have to move. I will definitely miss this place!
