Apartment Reviews for Cross Creek Ranch
Move right on along and don't look back

I worked at Cross Creek Ranch for over a month and I had to quit to prevent a nervous break down. I was having nightmares about angry residents coming after me for leasing such a terrible apartment to them. I would receive work orders from residents and promptly turn them in only to find out weeks later that they were never completed. One was for three light bulbs to be replaced on the "lighted property" it took them three weeks to replace them. I was told to tell people that their requests would be taken care of quickly when I knew they would no be. Most of the windows leak in the apartments; they would fix the leaks but not replace the soggy dry wall on the interior so weekly they residents would complain about the rotted windows and baseboards. I received complaints about soggy-rotted flooring in the bathrooms, I can't be sure if those were ever fixed. Take a close look at the exterior of the buildings you can see foundation problems where stairs are separating from the building. Roaches and mosquitoes are a constant problem. The grounds are trashy. One resident called twice a week for three weeks to get something fixed in her kitchen, she finally came in person and the manager told her that there were more important problems to fix than hers. The 24 hour fitness center sounds great but the A/C is connected to the office and is turned off at 7pm. The business center seems great too, you just better not have a need to use Word or anything like it because it does not exist, nor do you have a printer or fax machine. I would show people the models which were in perfect order but I knew the apartment the person was moving into was substandard in comparison. On resident called and said to me, "you showed me such a beautiful model, and I feel like I moved into a cheap motel." That's when I left; it broke my heart for people to feel like that in their home. You will not be able to see the apartment you are receiving until the day you sign your lease if you hate it kiss your deposit good bye. There are many properties that will let you have your deposit back and show you your apartment before you spend money out of your pocket. You should also worry about the move in regulations; you sign a sheet saying that your credit and criminal are a certain way. Well those rules are sometimes broken for some individuals. Buyer beware, I just worked there and it killed me to do that to so many unsuspecting people. I'm sorry if one of them was you. <P>
